Library
Policies
A student, in good standing, may check out two books at a time with their student student ID. Books are checked out for two weeks with two possible renewals if another student does not have it on hold. A student may have up to three books on hold at a time through the library catalog on ClassLink.
Students may not check out or renew a book if hey have overdue books or fines pending on their account. Fines remain on a student's library account as long as they are a student at Princeton ISD. Mattei Library does not charge fines for overdue books. If a book is overdue by 30 days, though, it will automatically be marked as "lost" and the student's account will be charged the cost of the book. This charge can be removed if the book is returned. Students will also be charged for damaged books.
Students and parents/guardians will receive weekly automated notification emails if the student has overdue books or fines on their account. Students may check their library account status by logging into the library catalog.
